Our third day in Seattle began with a view from the Space Needle. The City Pass allowed for two views on the Needle—one at night and one during the day. The view during the day was worthwhile too, but since it was cloudy, I think I preferred the nighttime view with all the beautiful lights just a little more!
Our next stop was at the University of Washington campus, which was a little ways away from downtown Seattle. I had always heard the campus was quite beautiful, but I wanted to check it out for myself! Even though it was dark by the time we arrived at the campus, the buildings were old and made of brick and definitely had a gothic feel to them. The architecture clearly spoke to the university’s history.
The day ended with some beer tasting at a local bar, popular amongst the U of Washington students. Got to try some local beer! And went to a creperie just next door for the classic nutella + banana + strawberry crepes with whipped cream 🙂
